[Penelope] You disappeared after 2010, and now that I can actually talk to you again, I'm expected to accept that you'll tell me nothing and keep blowing me off?

[Penelope] I don't know what I did to deserve this but I'd appreciate at least some explanation

[Riley] it was seeing you in 2021 that started this whole mess, you can't expect me to start chatting during mornings again

[Riley] look, I know this is infuriating; I'm sorry about how little sense any of this makes to you

[Riley] I'm not trying to screw with you, this is just a dangerous situation that you're wading into head-first and making worse, even if it's by accident

I genuinely do not understand why Riley is rebuffing me in this way, nor do I understand how I'm making anything worse. As far as I can tell, I'm not doing anything except observing and learning what I can. There's also what she said about 2021, which makes no sense to me.

Still, I know Riley. Or knew her, at least. She isn't the type of person to pull this for no reason. I'll trust her for now, and wait until she messages me to talk to her. I guess I'm forced to sit and do nothing until something changes.
