Safety Comes First

I got another email from Edward. This one's subject is Safety Comes First:

"When one is faced with an enemy like this, there are several actions that must be taken. First, one must amalgamate all threads together, tying them into a ratking of contemplation. One must then have their mind sealed, their memories and history buried deep down the well, blocked for all eternity. It is only then that containment is secured. However, if remembrance is forced, then a breach is inevitable. This leaves only one chance. Only one solution.

It has broken free. It is in the rain."

This continues themes from the last email, and seems to parrot some of what was shown to me in my nightmare. Hopefully he'll share his solution soon. Once again I asked for clarification, but all I got was the same automatic response as last time.

It's still unclear to me what happened to everyone's memories. Nobody seems to remember the full truth of what happened, bar Edward and perhaps Riley. Even then, Riley most certainly doesn't know all that Edward knows.

I've stopped eating.
